Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, has promised to put in place sustainable economic policies that will grow the state economy and make the system to run smoothly.
At a stakeholders' meeting of the Commerce and Industry sector held at Winners Hotel, Ijapo estate, Akure, Ondo state capital, Eyitayo Jegede, whose hub of policy framework is economy assured the people that he Will ensure that government put in place sustainable economic policies that will make every facet of government to thrive and motivate investors to come, revive and create industries that will in turn generate jobs for our employable youths.
Jegede said, "One fundamental thing that we plan to do is put in place sustainable economic policies that will help us to grow the economy such that when the economy is fine, we can achieve so much more as a state."
The theme of the stakeholders' meeting is, 'Organized Private Sector and the challenges of Industrialization in our state: Hope for tomorrow.'
While thanking the various groups of the sector for supporting his candidature, he encouraged anyone who has fine ideas as to the ways we can make the state economic prosperous should not hesitate to forward same.
