Some laws in Nigeria are outdated - Saraki

Senate President, Dr. Olubukola Saraki on has said that most laws in Nigeria are outdated and need to be review

Saraki made the statement while responding to questions from journalists on what the senate is doing about a comprehensive report on bills critical to SME development in Nigeria at the ongoing 22nd National economic Summit in Abuja.  .

He  said, “We have identified 11 bills that can enable businesses in Nigeria, one of such is Petroleum Information Bill, PIB. Our fear was that there was no reference to those in the community.

That was why it was stepped down, but we are looking at passing that soonest,” he added.
